IL LAPIDEO ITALIANO HA CHIUSO IL 2008 CON UN SALDO NEGATIVO DELL’EXPORT |
Le statistiche di chiusura d’anno, elaborate dall’Internazionale Marmi e Macchine Carrara, mostrano un calo delle esportazioni quantità e valore. Unica voce in controtendenza è quella del marmo.
Nel corso del 2008 l’Italia ha esportato 4 milioni 228 mila tonnellate di marmi, graniti, travertini e altre pietre, grezzi e lavorati, per un valore complessivo di 1 miliardo e 792 mila euro, mentre le importazioni hanno toccato un totale di 2 milioni e 767 mila tonnellate, per 547 milioni di euro. Il confronto con il 2007 fa registrare segni negativi su quasi tutte le voci, a cominciare dal consuntivo generale: un -5,4% nelle quantità e -6,5% in valore, con un calo del valore medio unitario del -1% su tutte le voci (vedi tavola export allegata). Unica voce in positivo è quella dell’export dei blocchi e delle lastre di marmi e travertini, che crescono rispetto al 2007, sia in quantità, sia in valore, mentre i valori medi unitari per le singole voci sono in crescita per i marmi.

BUILDING INDUSTRY: MARBLE AND DESIGN, CARRARA INTRODUCES PRODUCTS TO FOREIGN MARKETS |
The works in marble of famous Italian designer in exhibition to Carrara in order to promote on foreign markets the products of the stone sector. It’s the initiative “Stone Style-Territorio & design” , a show-event that start from the territory and its traditions and arrives to the stone materials and its innovative technologies through the design.
The event will take place to Carrara from the 9th to the 12th of June 2009, but the show will be opened also later on and will be visitable till the 21th of June.
The event that will take place to the Chiostro di San Francisco of Carrara, will be accommodated in a particular scenographi purposely created by Studio Santachiara di Milano.

ASSEMBLEA GENERALE ACIMM 2009
Venerdì 13 marzo, nella nuova sede di Modena, si è svolta l’Assemblea Generale degli associati.
L’ordine del giorno prevedeva, oltre all’adempimento dei consueti
obblighi associativi, l’elezione della governance secondo il nuovo
statuto, il quale impone che le cariche di presidente, vicepresidenti e
comitato di presidenza siano ricoperte dai soli titolari di azienda.
E’ quindi stato ufficializzato il nuovo corso di ACIMM auspicato e
voluto da importanti aziende leader del settore, che hanno elaborato un
nuovo progetto di grande respiro che vuole rilanciare e reindirizzare
la storica associazione.

ACIMM, THE “COMMON HOUSE” OF MARBLE AND TRADITIONAL STONES MACHINE MANUFACTURERS |
A group of important entrepreneurs who operate in the production of machines, systems, equipment and tools for marble, granite and traditional stones, have matured the conviction that is necessary to strengthen and to throw again ACIMM, the historical Association of the sector.
The strong need of a “common house” is perceived, in which to have the possibility to express the requirements and to discuss the specific problems, in order to study possible solutions. A site of real participation and exclusive representation of the specific industrial sector.
The lack of an Association with these characteristics penalizes the entire sector.
