DECREASE THE EXPORT OF THE NATURAL STONE IN THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF 2008 |
In the first four months of 2008, the natural stone italian export has been of 1.333.000 tons equal to a value of nearly 560 million euro, while 1.041.000 tons for a value of 194 million and half of euro has been imported, with negatives balance in both cases regarding the same period of 2007.
The causes are mainly due to the super-euro and to the crisis of the American real estate market with the combined variations on amount and value equal to a lessening of the unitary average value of nearly -5% on the voices that compose the picture of the export.

MARMI E GRANITI - SALE L’EXPORT |
L’export delle aziende lapidee italiane registra buoni risultati. Nel 2006 hanno esportato marmi e graniti grezzi e lavorati per 3.239.479 tonnellate per un valore di 1 miliardo e 825 milioni di euro. Un confortante +4,43% nelle quantità e del +7,58% nei valori. Includendo tutte le voci, si va a 4,8 milioni di tonnellate per 1,9 miliardi di euro.
