ACIMM DOES NOT DANCE ALONE |

Interesting movements in the world of the stone field Associations. Recently, inside Confindustria, a path of integration between Assomarmi and Confindustria Marmomacchine has been started. I think it very interesting, that can benefit the entire row of the Italian stone industry.
At this point, also ACIMM would want to supply own contribution in the direction of a new associative system that previews a total rationalization in this direction:
- constitution of two federate subjects with clean division of political governance between stone producers and technologie manufacturers;
- entrepreneurs of the two fields on top of the respective associative Organs;
- provide regulations voting in General Assembly with contributory system according to the dimensions of the associate companies.
It seems to me that sharing of many companies can be possible, also not Acimm associated, on this clear vision.
We are not isolazionism fan. We want to join up, to face with the existing Associations, with the companies of our sector and with the customer companies. But we want to act without renounce to the DNA of ACIMM, its history and its values.
We will fight, if as we wish we will participate to this constituent table, for the affirmation of these principles, that we believe basic and unavoidable.
We regret, meantime, that the Consiglio Direttivo of Marmomacchine Confindustria has judged our first proposal of associative integration as “not interesting neither strategic”.
I have intention to deepen these motivations, that at first sight appears contrary to the collaborative spirit and to the associative principles, that the President of Confindustria Emma Marcegaglia has shared with us.
The anomalous presence of two Associations that represent the same field is a situation to remove, a fact that, objectively, puts in difficulty the entire representation of a disunited and quarrelsome field.
I think, instead, that there are margins to bring near the different political visions and that the field need a single Association, unitary and therefore more strong.
On tangible contents, organizational and programmatic, I am convinced that finally some steps ahead can be done. As happened in the slid months with some “meaningful coincidences”. At first on the demand to the Government for scrapping obsolet marble machines . Then on the common engagement of the two Associations in the attendance and the information to our companies with respect to the new European Machine Directive. In short, exist in the daily operativity shared sensibility and actions that we could and we would have to put in synergy.
ACIMM for 2010 has in mind ideas and plans on political and institutional front, on advertising, publishing and technical-normative.I invite all the companies of the sector to follow our activities and to being propositionals and participatings. Only the contribution of all an Association can indeed become useful and effective.
